My family and I have been proud residents of San Carlos for over 20 years. I live here with my husband, our son who goes to Tierra Linda middle school, and our two dogs. This community is home.
I am a mom who cares deeply about our schools and understands that every child is different. Professionally, I have spent more than 25 years leading teams and building technology products at Microsoft, Oracle, and startups — work that taught me how to listen, bring people together, and be responsible with limited resources.
But the work I am proudest of has happened right here. Mentoring, tutoring, and coaching local kids has shown me again and again how much a caring adult, a supportive school, and the right opportunity can change a child's path. That is the perspective I would bring to the Board.
